Deliberate protection of time, attention, and social space from capture by productivity, platforms, status games, and institutional urgency. Margin is not idleness as ideology. It is the recovery space without which no person can participate freely.

Signal Convergence

One recurring practice is the naming of control patterns: interrogation, withdrawal, alarm, premature certainty, mystification, dependency, spectacle. The purpose is not accusation. Another recurring practice is sacred absurdity: a small pressure valve against institutional pomposity. Chapters may laugh at their own staging, titles, failed predictions, and overripe metaphors. They may not use irony to blur consent, money, care, or authority.
